Approaches
Skødshoved harbor can be accessed around the clock in bright and visible weather. To reach the harbor it must be done from the northwest. The entrance is marked with a red and a green buoy as well as two orange balls. At night, the harbor's green mole lighthouse glows. There is a speed limit of 3 knots in the harbor basin.

Skødshoved harbor is located in Aarhus Bay. In clear weather there are great views of Aarhus.

Benches and tables are located on the pier of the harbor where you can enjoy your food together with the view over the bay of Aarhus. There is also a barbecue area which guest sailors are welcome to use.

Attractions

Skødshoved harbor is not far from Mols Bjerge, which is a magnificent, protected nature landscape with varied nature, a myriad of hiking trails and a rich wildlife.

About 1 km from the harbor is the Flintesmeden's working workshop. Here you can experience the work of the Stone Age flint smiths up close. It is also possible to see the museum's collections of archaeological and geological memories.

Ports charge

All boats, regardless of size, cost DKK 125 a day. The port money is paid through an envelope that can be collected at the writing desk outside the port office. There is free 3 hour hibernation, but without shore power. The water depth on the inside of the south pier is approx. 2.5 meters, however, on the western side of the outer bridge there is a max. 2 meters of water, further inside something smaller.
