Approaches
Called day and night, but only in bright and visible weather. The compass marking on Tippegrund is in line with Stavning Harbor's beacon line. From here you can be directed directly towards the entrance to the 1 cm long trench to the Skaven, which is marked by a red / white tip barrel with ball top. The lighthouses of the harbor show in 129 degrees. The narrow gutter is marked by green and red candlesticks. The marking, which is only laid out between 1 April and 15 November, must be strictly respected. Keep a distance of at least 1 cm from the protected areas of the clay banks and the Tippers for the sake of bird life. Comprehensive restrictions on all traffic across Harvig Grund and Spell Grund.

Nice little harbor in Ringkøbing fjord. At Skaven harbor you find tranquility in relaxing surroundings. A child-friendly place where the fjord offers good bathing conditions and exciting challenges for the windsurfers.
As a neighbor to Skaven Strand you will find Tipperne, Northern Europe's largest bird sanctuary. Here you come close to eg. grooves, sparrows, snaps and wheels.
It is possible to buy freshly caught fish in the harbor.
