Rødvig harbor is a lovely harbor, and there is usually no problem getting a seat - even in high season. The harbor is a nice mix between marina and fishing port. There is a large maritime inspired playground in the harbor area where children and childish souls can play loose.
Rødvig Inn is definitely worth a visit if you want to go out for dinner. Menu and a la carte are served in the cozy old tavernas overlooking the water.
The sailing club Rødvig Stevns has a home port in Rødvig harbor.
Attractions
Right at the harbor you will find the city's landmark - a reconstructed flint furnace. It is the third furnace standing on the site - the first furnace was built around 1870. In the flint furnace, flint from Stevns Klint was burnt to flint flour, which was used for glazing in faience factories.
Boesdal is a closed quarry that can be visited. The trip from Rødvig to the abandoned limestone quarry Boesdal, can be made on the cliff by a protected tramp path or along the beach. Remains of the two old lime kilns from the 1930s, as well as a huge pyramid shaped building for agricultural lime are preserved.
