Oddesund harbor is located by Thyholm in the Limfjord. The harbor is located by the narrow waters between Nissum Bredning and Venø Bay. The harbor is small, but in return very cozy. There are great views.
There is a petrol station and grill bar about 50 meters from the harbor.
Oddesund Nord train station is located right near the harbor, where you can get to either Struer or Thisted. The station boasts of being Denmark's least used train station - it has an average of 5 daily passengers.
Oddesund has been an important traffic hub over time, as there has been ferry operations from the site. The oldest stories tell of a rowing ferry where raw muscle forces were the ferry's engine.
