Details
Nafplio was the first capital of modern Greece (1828-1834) and for good reason the city is probably one of the most beautiful in all of Greece. Venetian time. There is also an archeological museum with finds from nearby Mycenae and Tiryns.
Lots of opportunity for shopping and provisioning. There is a sea of cafes and restaurants.
