Sevædigheder

Denmark's first cement factory, located at Kongsdal in Mariager Fjord, was built in 1883-84. The factory was named Cimbria. Ten years later, the Dania cement plant was built. In the mid-30s, the two factories were merged into one factory under the name Dania. Cement production ceased in 1984 and the site is now open to the public. In Dania's old forge, you can experience the old forging crafts every Thursday. Special tasks can be ordered and executed in an old-fashioned way.
