Kalvehave Havn
Kalvehave Havn is located on South Zealand near Ulvsund. The harbor is close to Queen Alexandrine's bridge. Over the years, the port has been primarily a fishing port. In the 1970s onwards, the harbor was primarily home to yachtsmen.
Bicycles are rented, it costs 50 kroner per day. In Kalvehave town, located a few hundred meters from the harbor, there is a grocery store, bank, restaurant, post office, petrol tank, and good bus connections to Stege and Vordingborg.
Ulvsund Sejlklub has a home port in Kalvehave Havn.
Attractions
King Asgers High's giant parlor is well preserved. The chamber is 10 meters long and over 2 meters wide. King Asgers High is considered the largest and best preserved giant living room. The hunting lodge was excavated in 1839.
Kalvehave church is high on a hill with a magnificent view of Ulvsund. The church was built in the period 1225-1250. The church is a mixture of Romanesque and Gothic style. The altar is from the 16th century and the pulpit from 1639.
